Fran
I’m Fran Lamothe — a visual artist and web designer working at the intersection of design, space, and strategy.
My background brings together Los Angeles real estate, interactive design, and fine art, which means I approach websites differently. I don’t design for trends or noise. I design for clarity, confidence, and conversion — especially for people who build, sell, or shape beautiful spaces.
Today, I create design-forward Squarespace websites for real estate professionals, design-build firms, landscape designers, and interior designers who want their online presence to feel intentional — not templated, not overcomplicated, and never generic.

Fom Hollywood to High-End Homes
Before working in web, I helped bring stories to life in Hollywood.
As an interactive designer and creative director, I created digital experiences for major film studios — working on projects for titles like Batman, Austin Powers, The Grinch, and James Bond. That world taught me how to think cinematically: pacing, hierarchy, emotion, and restraint.
I bring that same mindset to web design today.
A strong website isn’t about saying everything.
It’s about knowing what to show, what to hold back, and what to lead with.
That’s where strategy lives.
Fine Art & Photography
Alongside my design work, I create minimalist fine art and photography defined by clean lines, subtle textures, and a quiet sense of space.
My work is intentionally calm — designed to complement modern interiors and invite a pause rather than compete for attention. Many of the same principles guide both my art and my web work: composition, balance, and intention.

Yes. Once the project is complete and final payment is received, you have full ownership and control of your website.

Yes. Squarespace makes it easy to manage your own content, and your site will be set up so you can update it confidently after launch.

Most projects take one to two weeks.
Signature projects may take slightly longer depending on scope. -
All website content and assets are required before the project begins so the build can move forward smoothly and on schedule.

The project fee covers the design and build of your website. Additional costs may include your Squarespace subscription, domain registration, and any optional add-ons or third-party services you choose to use.
Any potential additional costs will be discussed in advance so there are no surprises.
